The SLOWD Review meeting and a fruitful series of internal Progress meetings were successfully held from 19 to 22 of April, 2021 in a digital format. The meetings were attended by representatives of all entities involved in SLOWD.
On the 19th of April, the M18 Review Meeting took place bringing together the consortium partners, the European Commission Project Officer and the EC reviewer. The main objective of the meeting was to present the scientific and technical achievements of the project that were performed during the past eighteen months and to provide sufficient information that will allow the EC to conduct the project assessment against the applicable Description of Work. At the end of the meeting, the European Commission Project Officer and the EC reviewer provided their valuable feedback to the SLOWD partners and concluded that important work has been accomplished despite the struggles faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The days that followed, SLOWD researchers internally discussed the progress performed during the project’s third semester while, at the same time, they had the opportunity to exchange ideas on their next steps that will build on the work done to date.
